Collision Involving Accessibility Bus

Philadelphia, PA – A crash involving an accessibility bus and an SUV resulted in one death and several injuries early Friday, August 23rd.

According to authorities, Howard Markee, 28, was driving an SUV near Cross Keys Road and Oakland Avenue when he crossed into the oncoming lanes and struck the bus head-on.

Markee was taken to the hospital where he later died of his injuries. Both of his passengers, including one juvenile, were also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the bus and one passenger were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
