Pedestrian struck by a car on Roosevelt Boulevard

Pedestrian struck by car

Philadelphia, PA – Just before 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, a pedestrian was struck by an oncoming vehicle on Roosevelt Boulevard in the cities Logan section.

The accident happened in the southbound lanes just before F street.

Officials reported that the pedestrian was seriously injured in the accident and Police cordoned off two lanes while working in the area.

The uninjured party appeared to be working with the police to investigate what happened. The cause of the accident is still unknown.  

The injured pedestrian was transported to Einstein Hospital. Their condition and state of injuries are still unknown.
